if you ever wondered what it was like to be a vegetarian living in china, this is it. because people eat way more vegetables there on a daily basis but for special occasions they will always have meat and they don’t really understand elective vegetarianism because meat is considered a delicacy and sign of prosperity.

so sometimes in restaurants you just have to lie and say you’re a buddhist because they get what that means.
