Engadiner nusstorte from cafe hibiscus, a wonderful restaurant owned by a lovely Hawaiian lady whose family runs a Swiss restaurant in honalulu.
I also had the weinerschitzel brotchen but forgot to take a picture. I was already drunk on their salad dressing, which is so good that I switched my coleslaw for a side salad. I know, right.
I made Jason some mango rice for desert because he brought me home a pint of Ben and jerrys mission to marzipan.
Marionberry pie and vinho verde for dessert. I also made a gluten free blueberry pie for Jason which was better than our regular pie.
And I got an awesome cake! Called Vietnamese wedding cake, it’s pandan chiffon sandwiching layers of flaky pastry and light creme frosting.
After a disappointing dinner, dessert. Should go well with the schwarzbier I’m drinking.
Have eaten 2 of these delicious chocolate covered gingerbread rounds. Contemplating another but forcing myself to wait.
edit: like everything else I like, these are from Germany so no hope of acquiring my on tin. boo!
